St. Xavier Church Kottar Festival 2018
Every year, the St. Xavier Church Kottar festival will commence on 24th November and will conclude on 3rd December. This year also, the festival will commence on 24th November. Hundreds of people from the district and from Tirunelveli and Kerala also come here to celebrate the feast of St. Francis Xavier. During the festival, the Church is decorated with lights.The road from Anna Bus stand to the Church is very busy with road side shops on both side of the road. There are lot of things available here, from eatables, sweets, fancy items, ice creams, toys, games for children etc. On the final day, 3rd December, the local administration has declared it as local holiday.
Police administration has made security arrangements for the festival.
