Marakkar Arabikadalinte Simham (Marakkar: The Lion of the Arabian Sea) is an upcoming malayalam movie starring Mohanlal in lead role along with Suniel Shetty, Arjun, Prabhu, Manju Warrier etc. The movie is produced by Antony Perumbavoor (Aashirvad Cinemas) with Moonshot Entertainments and Confident Group as co-producers. This movie is Directed by Priyadarshan.
Marakkar Arabikadalinte Simham is the story about the legendary Kunjali Marakkar IV and his battles against the Portuguese during the 16th century. He was the naval chief of the Zamorin of Calicut.
As per the reports, the release of the movie is planned to be in 2020. The actual release date will be announced after production by the makers of the movie. The film is progressing in Ramoji Film City, Hyderabad. This is a big budget multilingual film to be released in Malayalam, Tamil, Telugu and Hindi.
