After a quite long time, ‘The Gemini Circus’ has started in Nagercoil. Circus in Nagercoil 2023 will start on 21st July 2023, and it is planned to be held for a month at Exhibition ground, near hindu college, Nagercoil.

About The Great Gemini Circus
The Great Gemini Circus Company was founded by Shankaran, who purchased the Vijaya Circus Company in 1951 and renamed it as Gemini Circus.
The founder M V Shankaran is known as Gemini Shankaran.
Gemini circus has a great history behind it. The founder transformed the Gemini circus to a leading circus company in India. Many films shootings were done in this circus including Raj Kapoor’s ‘Mera Naam Joker’. Gemini circus became the first Indian circus company to attend the International Circus Festival in the USSR, in 1964.
